Do U AI ("the app", "we", "us"), operated by Flowdak Music / Eric Scott, lets you turn your photos into images, videos, and audio using artificial intelligence. This section addresses Apple App Review Guideline 5.1.1 requirements regarding the collection, use, disclosure, sharing, retention, and deletion of face data.
Do U AI does not independently collect or store face data as a biometric template. When you choose a photo for a creation, Apple's on-device Vision framework may detect the presence and location of faces in that photo. This detection runs entirely on your device — the face coordinates never leave your device and are never stored on disk or on any server. The only face-related information that leaves your device is the photo itself (which may depict a face), and only when you actively tap a create button after giving in-app consent.
The photo you submit (which may include your face) is used solely to produce the creative result you requested. Specifically:
Face data is never used for advertising, facial recognition, identification, authentication, biometric enrollment, or training of Do U AI's own models. Face data is never collected passively or in the background.
Yes — the photo you submit may be transmitted through our Cloudflare Worker backend to fal.ai and the AI providers listed above solely to generate the content you requested. Photos uploaded temporarily to enable URL-based video generation are hosted on our Cloudflare backend and automatically deleted within about one hour. Face data is not sold.
On-device face detection results are ephemeral. Photos uploaded to our Cloudflare backend for video generation are automatically deleted within about one hour. Creations you save are stored locally on your device unless you delete them. Third-party AI providers retain submitted data only as long as necessary to produce and return the requested result.

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, browsing history, or any data you do not actively submit to a creative tool.
Data is collected only when you actively use a feature. Nothing is sent to AI providers until you have given consent on the in-app data-sharing screen shown before your first creation, and then only when you start a create action.
Your submitted photos, prompts, and voice audio are used solely to generate the image, video, or audio you requested, to save your creations when you choose, to manage subscriptions/coins, and to provide support. We do not sell your data or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
To create your content, your submitted data may be transmitted to:
Primary AI platform for stills and video (Seedance / Kling / Gemini image models). Receives your photo and/or prompt via our Worker. You own the fal.ai account and API key.
Temporarily hosts photos needed for URL-based video generation; holds your fal.ai key server-side; proxies voice/clone requests. Ephemeral photo hosting auto-deletes within about one hour.
Receives your selected photo and prompt (via fal.ai) to animate it into video with audio and lip-sync.
Receives your selected photo and/or prompt (via fal.ai) to generate video clips.
Receives your selected photo and/or prompt via fal.ai to edit stills and help plan or describe scenes. Billed on your fal.ai account.
Receives text prompts and/or voice audio you record to generate speech, voice clones, music, and sound effects.
Handle App Store purchases and subscription status. They do not receive your creative photos for AI generation.

Before any creative data leaves your device for AI processing, the app shows a consent screen disclosing what is sent and to whom. You must agree before any creation is made. Privacy-policy text alone is not the only disclosure — the in-app consent screen is required. You can withdraw consent in Privacy settings.
Do U AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. When you add a child’s photo to a Crew or creation, you confirm you have the right to use that photo.
We may update this policy as Do U AI evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date and may require renewed in-app consent.
